How to delete your account from the Ebteaath app
Important Notice
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data and this action cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to delete your account before proceeding.
Steps to Delete Your Account from the App
Open the App
Open the Ebteaath app on your phone and log in to your account.
Go to Settings
Tap on the Settings icon on the home page or from the side menu.
Select "Account Settings"
From the settings menu, choose the "Account Settings" option.
Tap on "Delete Account"
Scroll down until you find the "Delete Account" option and tap on it.
Confirm Deletion
A confirmation message will appear. Read the information carefully and then tap "Confirm Delete" to complete the process.
What Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
- University admission application history
- Uploaded documents and files
- Financial transaction records
- Support chat history
- All settings and preferences
Data Retention
In accordance with legal requirements, we may retain some data for a limited period after account deletion (such as financial transaction records for accounting purposes). This data will be automatically deleted after the required legal period expires.
Alternative Options
Before deleting your account, you may consider the following options:
- Disable notifications if they are bothersome
- Just log out without deleting your account
- Contact our support team to resolve any issues
